SCHAKO PIANO Sound-damped Volumetric Flow Controller

SCHAKO PIANO Sound-damped Volumetric Flow Controller is a compact system in rectangular design used with integrated volumetric flow controller for constant and variable volumetric flow, room or duct pressure regulation in supply and return air systems. Shorter design compared to conventional pressure-relief boxes makes installation easier in confined spaces, and low overall height saves space. Smaller dimensions greatly simplify installation handling and provide advantage in projects with limited space. Integrated, flow-optimised shut-off profile can be opened completely so that free flow cross-section of 100% can be achieved. This largest possible free cross-section reduces pressure losses and minimises flow noise. Due to optimised aerodynamic flow, no inlet and outlet sections need to be planned. Works within 50-4680 m³/h volumetric flow range. This wide capacity spectrum provides usage opportunity in HVAC applications of different sizes from small office areas to medium-sized industrial facilities. Sound attenuated volume flow controller type PIANO in rectangular design can be connected to rectangular ducts to DIN EN 1505 or to spiral ducts to DIN EN 1506 with transition piece. This means that sound attenuated volume flow controller type PIANO can be used variably in event of on-site modifications. Low pressure losses also reduce ongoing operating costs of air conditioning system. Silenced volume flow controller type PIANO can already be used with static pressure difference of 50 Pa, i.e. duct network and fan can be designed for low air velocities and PIANO can be used in low-pressure systems. This means that silenced volume flow controller type PIANO can also be used in very confined spaces. No need to plan inlet and outlet sections provides installation opportunity even in very limited spaces. Can be safely used in office buildings, hospitals, schools, projects with narrow space requirements and all HVAC applications requiring high acoustic performance.
